Sunday Strolls

A few weeks ago our ward participated in a city-wide cleanup of one of the local parks.

We had a great turn-out and it was great to see all the work that got done.

I was especially proud of my two little girls, who worked hard enough to become considered big girls that day.  I had to leave early to take the little boys and Gracie home for naptime, but they happily stayed with Adam working along with him for a few more hours.

They came back dirty and with sore feet but with no other complaints.

The next day we went with friends from the ward for a Sunday stroll through the park to see our finished product.  It was a beautiful afternoon and the leaves sure were shinning.

I don't know how much reverent strolling we did compared to the running and climbing and riding in the pink golf cart, but ohh well, Sundays can't all be somber.
