First Few AZ Christmas Days

As always, the plane ride is the most stressful, hectic part of the journey.  I am still waiting for the day when everyone can handle their own junk on their own.  That will be a miraculous time.  Until then, we just keep making baby steps towards raising independent fliers.  Next year, Seth gets his own carry on, since he threw such fits when nobody would let him pull thiers around.

Our first day was spend in the Pheonix area visiting with my sister and her family.  We had a good time at the zoo, then at a really cool pizzaria that featured organ music, and finally stopping by the temple to see the Christmas lights.  But my kids couldn't help but get impatient.  They wanted grandma and grandpa and wanted to know why in the heck we didn't take them there right away.

Since we didn't have near enough babies, we were glad to have our cousin and her cute baby M come along to zoo with us.

9 kiddos at the zoo with 7 of them 5 or under was quite the adventure, but my sister Lisa was a pro at the zoo and kept us moving along to the best exhibits.

The little monkey walk through exhibit was the favorite for most of the kids.
Except for those that snuck out with Adam and rode the camel.

We love babies.

Can't even imagine where all the grumpies could be coming from.  It was only about midnight Eastern time when we took them to see the temple lights.

Ha, what a day.  We shoved them all the the big Burb that Adam's parents let us borrow again for our trip and told them not to make another sound until we got to Grandma and Grandpa's house a mere two hour ride away.
