We had a pretty awesome Saturday a few weeks ago.
We started the morning with a bit of warehouse cleanup and a shorty short ride to our Patty's Place for breakfast for the work crew. Our new family Coverstar shirts had just come in and we wore them so proudly.
The girls were left on their own to order and Ellie took advantage and ordered the largest French Toast platter ever!
Fire hydrant, war memorial, and white church all together in a green is our perfect little town's center.
To kick off Foster and Adptive Parent month the Department of Children and Families treated the foster/adoptive families in our area to an awesome picnic later that day at an outing facility called Boulder Ridge in Barkhamstead.
The day was just beautiful, the activities super fun, and the pool freezing.
My two mountaineers headed to the rock wall and zip line.
Both loved the zip line, but refused to make the climb back up the rock wall to do it again.
Emma first, over the little pond that Adam and the little guys paddling the canoe.
After swearing off the rock wall, the big girls spent most of their time in the kayaks.
They did the canoe together for a bit and it was too cute to see those sisters who love to fight and argue having such a great time together, but I didn't get a picture.
While Gracie and the babe hung out at the playground Cayden worked on his shot.
I think the blue ball is his. Falling a bit short, but the form, awesome form.
We were really glad that we went.
It really exceeded our expectations for DCF event picnic.
We visited with a family that were licenced during the our same class and it was so nice to catch up. They had had a baby girl placed with them right after her birth and then later agreed to take on her two older siblings(boys 7 and 9) as well. *incredible*
So yeah for May the Adoptive/Foster Parenting Month!
(but please, don't just go and become foster/adoptive parents for the party....not quite worth it)

I love you guys! It doesn't get any better than being a Marble! And yes, I am a foster Marble too, because I am accepted and loved along with everyone else. Thank you Kayla, Adam, Ellie, Emma, Gracie, Cadyn and Seth. You are all the BEST!
Sounds like SO much fun!! I think I would only do the rock wall once, too. ha ha ha. :)
