I have some tips on how to create an awesome Mother's Day Weekend.
1. Start Friday night and send them ALL away!
Adam and Cayden off to the Fathers and Sons camp out.
He was just so darn cute, running around like a bumble bee trying to help his dad get ready for their camping trip. I packed his backpack with clothes, pjs, a pillow, and stuffed puppy. We put on his boots just like dad. We found him a baseball cap to wear and a flashlight to keep in his pocket. He is growing up into such a little man. He waved to me on his way out the driveway as I muttered to myself, "Please, Adam, keep an eye on him."
Next up, my good friend Kathy has been urging me to let her have some Girl Time with my girlies, so I thought a sleepover would be the trick. They had a great time with pancakes and fingernails and movies.
That just left me and the littlest one to enjoy the evening. We hit the mall to do a little shopping and when he was considerable tuckered out, we drove home, put him to bed, and ended the night with a movie that I picked out myself and no one was there to object.
2. Sleep in on Saturday morning.
Without C-man around, the house is quiet for much longer in the mornings. Of course, the baby is still up during the night at least once, but if you can get a few extra winks in after 7, things are looking good. Just don't freak out when you see the empty beds in the morning. It'll give you a startle, but that just so you'll be extra excited to see them later and spend your Saturday with them.
3. Do not clean the house.
4. Spend the day on the fields.
Then do a little bike riding.

5. Laugh to yourself Sunday morning as you pull a tantrum throwing toddler out of the chapel and hold his hand as you walk up and down the parking lot for thirty minutes as he calms down. "Darn right, I deserve a Mother's day."
6. Beam with pride as you watch you oldest three sing their Mother's day songs to you, especially if one is three and this is the first year she gets to sing with the others.
7. Take pictures of the troops making a special dinner for you.
8. Let them tell you they love you, goosh over all the cards and gifts you are given, and
pray that night that nothing ever changes.

Love it! Sounds like you had an exceptional Mother's Day, you deserve it!
Sounds AMAZING!!! Edward is still in nursery (good thing because he is immature) but I can't wait for next year when he can get up and sing with all the primary kids!
My favorite step? No cleaning the house!
