Tonight was a big night. It was Ellie's play! She looked so adorable up there as "Granny" in the "Granny Awards." I was so proud of her. She was spectacular! All the fairytale characters were there and it was such a cute night. Four classes from our elementary school joined up to give us this fun performance. There were two kindergarten classes that filled in the chorus parts and a few cute little dances and the leading roles were given to the second graders. The second graders had auditions and had practice once a week after school for most of the semester. It was so neat to see Ellie shinning up there, and all the other performers. I was so impressed with the hard work the students and those angelic teachers put in. It was also really fun for Ellie to have something all her own to be a part of. Practice was right after school, so none of her annoying siblings were sitting on the sideline waiting for practice to be over. It was just her and her good friends from school having great time, learning dances and songs.
