Before and Afters

My Ellie had a good first year of middle school.  She has been growing up in many ways.  We seem to be lucky in dodging alot of the middle school drama that sometimes appears at this age and I attribute that to Ellie's friendly and kind personality.  Her friends know that she is never mean to anyone.  She has had a lot of time this year to work on her music, mostly because she managed to never come home with homework.  The little do-gooder would get it all done before even getting home.

We just need to work on losing a few more of those baby teeth so the orthodontics can start. :)

My sweet and tangy Emma.
She spent the entire year reading.
Everything else was just a distraction.
It was not uncommon to find four of five little paperbacks in her backpack that she was re-reading for the who-knows how many times.  She is going to get through the Harry Potter Series this summer.  It has been magical watching her little facial expressions as she reads those lovely works.

And don't forget about our little Gracie and her last year of preschool.  She is ready to move on even if I'm not.  I remember being excited for when it was time for Ellie and Emma go off to kindergarten, but this time, I'm not so excited.  I am going to miss my little chit chatter so much.  Plus she is leaving me alone with those two boys.

I can't believe Gracie is ready for kindergarten. I figured she had one more year. Your girls are so precious. They have changed so much!
