We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My uncle and aunt came with their family from Virginia, plus I have two cousins going to school and working in NY that came too. I felt so lucky to have family visit. And both sets drove more than 6 hours to come to MY house. I love them for that. We spent time doing what we nerdy "Smiths" do best. We compared and repaired laptops, we teased Adam for his lack of a Mac, and we discussed who was wishing for an iPad this Christmas. We also did some un-nerdy things. The boys played football, the little girls play-doughed, the bigger kids Mario Karted, the women visited, the men made rootbeer and dry ice bombs, and everybody came together to put a great meal out.
Posed waiting for the dry ice bomb to explode.
Many hours after dinner, when we all crawled off the couches. We did a campfire and heard a few ghost stories. We ended the night by watching the Christmas Carol together. I loved having family around.

That sounds like such a fun thanksgiving!
It was so much fun to be at your house! The kids had a great time and I am still amazed by your ability to pull together so many extra beds.
