or to keep one proved true in our case.

Just a little over a month after purchasing it, our little Echo was mowed down by a Ford Explorer. She held up pretty good, protecting my girls, Valerie, and I, and wreaking her own damage on the offender, but still at a complete loss. Bye, bye little Echo. We are not looking forward to car searching again.

The crash in detail.
The girls, Valerie, and I were driving to a birthday party. We took the Echo because I had driven it earlier that day to a doctor's appointment and the car seats were already in it and it was parked behind my van. While driving down the road, the car directly in front of me slowed down and moved to the right shoulder of the road. I continued to pass her in my lane. She then suddenly decided to make a left turn across the road and hit my passenger side. We took off her front bumper, and she creamed the side of my car. We were then forced into oncoming traffic and my exceptional driving skills and Heavenly Father's care steered us clear to the opposite side of the road without further mishap. The hardest moment of my life was then, I heard Ellie screaming in the back, and I had to look back to see if my child was OK. Thankfully, we were all safe and so was the other driver who was at fault. I am extremely grateful for the strength that that little car exhibited, she really was a lot tougher than we thought.

Not a fun way to find out - glad everyone is okay.
glad everyone is okay. Great driving skills you have! The on coming traffic could of been big trouble!
Oh my goodness! I am so happy everyone is safe and sound.
Wow.. I bet that lady felt really bad when you got out of the car with your two little girls and a pregnant belly! Glad you all are ok and didn't get hurt.
