We started off her turning FIVE with a "Picnic Party" with lunch, games, and cake.

Here's some of the gang, and thank you friends so much for the presents.

Decorating sun hats. We broke out the real fabric markers, because we were after all at a big girl's birthday party, and thus the smocks courtesy of Coverstar.

Now, for the rest of MY birthday I will be positioned on the couch with this.
But as a side note, I can't believe I have a five-year-old. I can't believe I have been a mom for that long. She will be going to kindergarten next year. She is growing into such an independent, inquisitive, friendly, and loving little girl. I am so thankful to have this special person in my life, and am awed at the person I know she will become.
