Fall Camping is Beautiful

Have you seen us over at Three Boys and a Bird?

We spent this past weekend enjoying the fall scenes at Lake Odeta near Norwich, CT with our friends the Evan's. Apart from the drenchful and windy night, we woke to a beautiful Saturday morning. We cooked breakfast, played on the playground, rented row boats, fished, miniture golfed, ate again, and finally went home. I was afraid my girls were not going to enjoy our trip especially as Emma began asking to go home while we were setting up camp on Friday. She again made her please to go home at two in the morning when the wind and rain were coming at us the hardest, but in the morning as we were walking down to go fishing I asked her if she was glad we stayed and she said, "Yes." I am sure the rest of us felt the same way, we had a great time. Thanks Evan's for letting us come along.

Looks like fun... much of a camper (at all), but it sure is beautiful!
