This story is really about Ellie, but it begins with Emma. Emma grew too big for her convertible carseat(for those who don't speak carseat jargon, her toddler carseat) and she needs a new one. This is were we do the carseat shuffle. Emma gets Ellie's old booster seat, and Ellie gets a new backless booster seat.
I have been waiting for this option forever. The backless booster seat is completely hassle free, so light, and cost much less. Children also use them for much longer, in Connecticut you are supposed to be 8 years old before you don't need a booster seat. For these reasons we decided to have some fun picking Ellie's new one out. She decided pink was her color, but after scouring our local department stores without luck, we finally had to order our pink booster seat online. But it was worth it while she is sitting in style for the next four years.

I can't wait until Adi gets to move into one of these (she's only in the 20th percentile for her age, so I think it will be awhile)!
Live up the pink big girl!!
