Today after church Grandma decorated a gingerbread house with the little girls. Emma and Meren spent most of their time eating the candy while Ellie worked hard at getting everything perfect. She would compare her house to the sample on the box and instruct grandma on what they needed to do next. Throughout the rest of the evening she would approach different family members and ask them what they thought of the house.
"Don't you think it is a great house Mom?"
"Yes, Ellie it is beautiful and you have a very special grandma that loves to spend time with you and helps you make things," I reply.
With a smile, "I know,"says Ellie.
