Sept 2004 and Sept 2006
This set of pictures is a total coincidence. I snapped this one of Ellie today and thought it would make a great blog remembering the earlier picture, but it wasn't until I began posting that I realized that they were taken during the same month, two years apart. I almost makes me sad to see how much she has grown. She is a little girl now. Hopefully she never really fits into those boots, size thirteen is a bit large for a girl, but I know she is getting closer every day and I am so proud of her.
Recently, we have had to have a few discussions about BAD words and she has cooperated extremely well. She has even enforced a few of her own. We don't allow the "Oh, my gosh" expression and Ellie has excluded the use of the "Oh, man" expression as well.
"Mom, that's a bad word. You need to say I love."
Thank you Ellie for your reminders and I will try to be a good example for you always.
