Our little town had its annual fire department parade and carnival this past weekend. Of course, we didn't know anything about it until we tried to leave town to go grocery shopping and found all routes out of town blocked off for the parade. So we decided to park and enjoy the rest of the parade. As we were looking for a grassy spot to sit down on a balloon vender approached us offerring us a great deal on his balloons.
Adam asked, "How much are they?"
The tricky vendor replies, "It depends on the ones you choose. Here little girl which on would you like?" showing his wares to Ellie. Ellie promply picks out Dora and a blue dolphine for Emma, and of course he hands them to the happy girls.
"That will be sixteen dollars."
Holy smoke, eight bucks a pop, but of course the girls are already holding them, there is no way you can take them away. Thanks buddy for the great deal!
