This is our Ellie.
She is six and a half.
She has lost five teeth.
She likes to pick her own clothes.
She has her own ideas about hairstyles.
She slings her backpack across her body with one strap.
She loves to tease her Daddy, to get
back at all the teasing he has done to her.
She writes love notes in the snow to her Daddy.
She is a good helper, often volunteering to cook
everyone a hotdog or popcorn or cheese crisp.
She does really well on all her spelling tests.
She loves her karate class.
She doesn't love her piano lessons, but Oh, well.
She no longer enjoyes little kids shows.

She is loving our new Netflix streamer which is full of Disney classics,
Swiss Family Robinson, Parent Trap, Free Willy, Doctor DoLittle,
and Bed knobs and Broomsticks.
And she gets more sassy every day!

Yikes! It's the age, I tell you. She is an adorable little girl- and just remember what stresses you out makes everyone else laugh!
