Ellie has really become proficient on the computer in the last month. Adam was tired of Ellie bothering him while he was working in his office, so he taught her how to open the internet and he set the homepage to Disney.com where each show on Disney has a web page with games and activities. It amazes us to watch her as she navigates through all the different sites. She will know exactly what she wants to do like, "color with Clay" and she can find it and Print it out after she is done. It makes me a little worried, but Adam loves it. She will go down with him and play by his side on the opposite computer all morning if I let her. Adam makes her wear a headset so the sound doesn't bother him and she knows exactly what the plug into. If you ask her what she is doing her usual response is, "I'm so busy playing my puter."
Otherwise, Ellie is doing just fine. We are working on counting and trying to start recognizing letters and numbers. 1,2,3,4,6,9,10 is how it usually goes but if you hint that there is a 5 in there she'll throw in 7 and 8 too. She surprised me with an eleven the other day and then continued two-teen, five-teen, eighteen. She has two really good friends Ethan and Truman, so when she sees a "T", T is for Truman, and because "E" is already taken with Ellie, "O" is for Ethan.
Our Ellie gets smarter everyday and we are loving it, but it is a good reminder that we need to be teaching her good things.

Very impressive Ellie! Truman would like to be computer savy, but the whole mouse coordination thing doesn't make sense yet.
