Emma Speaks Up

Emma turned sixteen months old this week and we were wondering when we would hear more words from her. Well today it happened. At lunch she was fussing in her high chair and pointing to a banana, so I asked, "Are you done or do you want a banana?" "Mana," was her response. After she ate her banana she started fussing again. "Are you done?" "Done," said Emma as she pulled on her tray. After washing her up it was nap time. "Night, night Emma." "Nigh-nigh," replied Emma.
